Time to Vote

There are so many details to figure out when you live outside of the U.S. One is, how do we vote? Well it is actually very simple and basically absentee voting. You have to contact the website of the U.S. Embassy in the country in which you live and they will link you to register as an American living abroad. Super easy. So on election night when you hear them say that the overseas ballots have yet to be counted don’t start celebrating or crying just yet because our votes are in there.

Paul Smith recently gave me your blog address and it made me smile to read it from start to finish — what amazing experiences you’re all having. I’m happy to know that you guys are adjusted and thoroughly enjoying your new surroundings — that’s what it’s all about! I look forward to reading more! Cheerio!

This is great! Do your votes really “count”? Just kidding, just kidding. Did you get to take your license plate with you?
